1 - Things Done Changed

Its the start of a new school year and Spencer and Jordan are officially eligible to enter the NFL draft, placing Spencer at the center of the media spotlight; Olivia returns to Los Angeles after being changed by her time in London.

With everyone on holiday break, Spencer, decides to throw an epic Christmas party, with the help of JJ and Asher, as an excuse to bring him and Olivia closer. Jordan gets news about his hand, but he isnt sure what to do. After weeks of research, Olivia and Billy think they may have a breakthrough on their investigation. Layla decides to take matters into her own hands to get her dads company back. Meanwhile, Coop feels replaced when Laura makes a change in the office, which makes Coop think about her future.

1 - Survival of the Fittest

After the earth-shattering events of the Beverly and Crenshaw State Championship, Spencer also needs to come to terms what happened with Coop and Layla. Now he has the extra pressure of it being early national signing day for football and Spencer must make a major decision about committing. Meanwhile, Billy struggles to forgive Spencer about helping Jordan.

High school football player Spencer James gets a chance at a better life, playing for Beverly Hills High School.

After winning the state championship, Spencer James faces a difficult decision that could transform his reputation. Billy realizes he needs to make some major changes to get his life back on track, while Grace and Corey have a tough conversation regarding their family.

1 - Seasons Pass

Spencer finds himself on the defense after an interview he gave comes out, upsetting his old teammates; Coop and Layla return from tour; Billy is excited for a fresh start at South Crenshaw High.

2 - Public Service Announcement

As the team heads into their first football game of the season, the medias growing obsession with Spencer begins to take a toll on him; Olivia opens up to Jordan and Laura about what shes been working on.

2 - Dont Sweat the Technique

With Spencers life hitting a rocky point, he takes some advice from JJ and Coop to embrace college life. Olivia and Billys suspicions about Coach Garrett resurface and cause tension between them and Jordan. Layla makes a power play that catches an unsuspecting Patience off-guard. Spencer is taken aback to learn who his dad has added to the team. Jordan faces repercussions for not taking his upcoming football game seriously. Layla gets mad at Spencer after Olivia let it slip about his football plans.

Both Spencer and Billy are not getting the heros welcome they expected from the football team and quickly realize they need to adjust their style and start earning the teams trust first.

Spencer and Jordan spend an unexpected day together back in Crenshaw where our Beverly Hills golden boy, Jordan, gets his first taste of real life in South Central LA. Meanwhile, Billy struggles with his identity as a father as Olivia and Layla attempt to rekindle their friendship. And Coop faces her own truth, coming clean to her parents about being gay.

3 - Never No More

Spencer gives his father an ultimatum about his new player. Coop decides to enter a freestyle rapping battle. Olivia reluctantly joins the So Cal Muse group. Spencer grows concerned when Layla is still not acting like herself.

3 - High Expectations

With the first game of the season coming up, Spencer starts to feel the pressure on and off the field; Jordan realizes he needs to step up; Asher keeps trying to talk to Olivia about the summer, but she does everything she can to avoid the issue.

With Grace and Carters wedding right around the corner, antics ensue. With the All-American game approaching Spencer is feeling uneasy until an old friend says something to him that makes everything suddenly click. Olivia applies for a coveted summer internship with the L.A. Tribune Online, but her test assignment takes a different turn than what they asked for. Jordan questions why no one sees him as great and the answer he gets takes him by surprise. Coop feels betrayed by Layla when she learns Layla is looking for a new artist and makes some hurtful accusations. Meanwhile, Billy discusses a new opportunity with Laura that might just be too good to turn down.

While riding the exhilarating wave of a three-game winning streak, Spencer becomes seduced by the Beverly Hills good life leading to an unexpected adventure with Asher. Meanwhile, Coop is also being seduced by a new way of life – gang life – and everything it offers her.

Following Laylas advice to see a therapist, Spencer tries to get to the root of his problem, which leads to a shocking revelation; Jordan grows concerned about Simones behavior; Coop wants to make a music video and turns to the community for help.

When Spencer tries to talk to Layla about what is going on, things dont work out as he had hoped. A high school reunion brings up a lot of memories and unfinished business. Asher turns to Olivia when someone from his past wants to see him.

After having some issues with a new game strategy on the field, Spencer diverts his attention to helping a South Crenshaw High player, who has been struggling with his own issues; Layla helps Jordan find a new roommate at the beach house.

Still not satisfied with her article, Olivia gets Billys help to find the missing piece before her deadline. JJ ropes Spencer and Jordan into a Valentines Day fraternity speed dating event, which leaves Jordan questioning whats really happening between him and Layla. Coop has an opportunity to audit a law class but faces stiff competition for the coveted spot. Meanwhile, JJ begins to wonder if Asher is using recruiting as a ploy to get JJ to take off-season seriously.

When Spencer receives some unsettling news about his future, Billy helps devise a contingency plan for him. After a spontaneous trip to the cabin leaves the Vortex without internet, they decide to spend their time helping Spencer with his latest case studies on relationships; Jordan makes an unexpected discovery about Layla.

After what happens at the press conference, Spencer and Jordan try to secure as many commitments before the end of National Signing Day to help their team. An exhibition 7-on-7 rematch of the Beverly Eagles vs. South Crenshaw creates tension for all the players, but especially when Darnell proposes a bet that Spencer cant refuse. Jordan realizes that he needs help and turns to Billy and Laura for support. Olivia and Asher are trying to figure out what the future for them means. Meanwhile, Coop turns to Layla for help with her song and to get in good with Laylas dad, but Coop isnt prepared for what she hears.

6 - Teenage Love

Spencer decides to go to the family cabin to clear his head, but he gets a surprise visit from his friends; Billy shows up to the house to do a few repairs.

Its New Years Eve and Spencer and Olivia are determined to ring in the new year together despite several interruptions; Jordan gets advice on how to navigate a sensitive topic with Layla; Patience is pushed to her limit.

Meanwhile, Coop realizes that getting Shawn out of gang life may come at a steep price for her.

7 - Coming Home

With Spencer, Grace, Dillon and Darnell reeling from the news about why Corey may have left, they set out on a mission to find him. After locating Corey and trying to convince him to go home with them, the weekend turns out to be just what everyone needed. In an effort to keep fighting for the family to be whole again, Billy arranges for the family to meet with a family therapist and possibly help decide on the next step for them. During the session, the therapist gives Jordan and Olivia a separate assignment, which helps them learn more about each other than either knew.

7 - Roll the Dice

With Coop performing in Las Vegas, Spencer and some of the gang take a road trip to see her and Layla on tour. Spencer gets a little clarity on his feelings. Olivia notices that Jordan and Simone are acting suspicious.

8 - Kids See Ghosts

Laura surprises Olivia, Jordan and Spencer with a special gift from Billy that helps them navigate issues theyre each dealing with; Layla makes a discovery during therapy; Coop prepares Patience for the next step in their case against Miko.

8 - Feels So Good

When Laura throws Billy a surprise birthday party, everyone comes together to roast Billy, but Billy has a looming decision hanging over his head. Spencer cant get excited about his football ranking and gets some guidance from Layla; Jordan gets some more news he wasnt expecting; Laura makes a decision about where she and Billy stand; Asher gets some clarity from his parents.

When the Santa Ana winds blow into town, they seem to confirm Billys theory that they are a bad omen after he faces multiple setbacks. Spencer convinces a reluctant ally to speak their truth, but it doesnt come without consequences. Jordan finds himself juggling too many secrets and accidentally lets one slip. Spencer should be on top of the world – his football team is headed to the playoffs and he can finally be with Layla – but he cant shake a major tragedy that occurred causing him to question everything. Meanwhile, Coop learns some disturbing information about a friend and Jordan is worried about the results of a drug test that could end his football career for good.

Dillon is mad that Spencer hasnt been around, so Spencer tries to make it up to him by having him help sell tickets for Coops show, but they find themselves confronted by the police instead. Elsewhere, Coop is shook when faced with Tyrone, but luckily she knows Preach is in her corner. Billy tries to force Jordan and Olivia to hang out with him and make memories, but all doesnt go to plan, giving Olivia an idea on reporting injustices. Meanwhile, Layla bonds with a new friend who understands what she is going through, but she realizes that Spencer and Olivia are there for her, too.

Spencer is upset with Olivia, which leaves him to face some difficult truths of his own. Billy holds school tryouts for a kicker and is surprised at who the number one candidate turns out to be.

Spencer finds himself struggling at the NFL combine when prospective coaches dig into his past; Jordan convinces Layla to take a day for herself while he handles her first brunch service at the lounge; Asher receives some unexpected news.

While Billy preps his team for the combine, Spencer hears some news that leaves him rattled. As Coop gets more involved in gang life, her relationship with Patience is tested, while Spencer is determined to find a way to help his community stop the violence that keeps occurring. Jordan is developing a relationship with his grandfather, which brings up family issues for Billy.

10 - Protect Ya Neck

With Tyrone back on the streets, Spencer is being a little overly protective of Coop and Laura and finds himself in uncharted territory. Olivia is nervous about her upcoming SoLA Muse Cotillion and tries to lean on Asher, but he seems more focused on football than ever. Coop and Patience are trying to get back into a rhythm, but things get worse when Coops jealous streak comes out. Meanwhile, Jordan alerts Billy about what he sees on social media that makes Billy worry a little.

10 - Put Up or Shut Up

Spencer knows he needs to have the game of his life to follow his dream of playing football. Jordan makes a risky choice when it comes to football. Olivia attends a new Narcotics Anonymous in search of a sponsor.

11 - The Next Episode

When a couples trip doesnt go as planned, Spencer volunteers the Vortexs help at South Crenshaw Highs production of Romeo and Juliet; Jordan and Layla receive news from their wedding venue that leaves them each feeling conflicted.

11 - Time

In an attempt to avoid one big life decision about his relationship with Olivia, Spencer decides to attend the Crenshaw combine with Jordan, even if it means having to avoid another big issue…being in the same place as Billy. Meanwhile, Layla clashes with her father over a decision she made about Keating Records, Olivia contends with success behind a pseudonym, Preach gets a surprise visit from Amina and Asher receives some life changing news. Despite how the day begins, no one is prepared for how it ends.

11 - Liberation

After finally getting a handle on his football schedule, Spencer must figure out how to balance everything mentally before it costs him. Billy is settling into his new role and finds inspiration from an unlikely source to fight for the job permanently. Olivia and Jordan go on a mission to find Olivias sponsor when she goes missing. JJ introduces Asher to his coach with the hopes that he can get a student job with the team, but it turns out to be harder than expected. Meanwhile, Layla feels the pressure to step up her game in the music business.

11 - All Eyez on Me

At a college recruiting event, Spencers former teammates from Crenshaw show up, which causes Spencer to lose focus. Olivia comes to Ashers aid, while Jordan struggles with the opportunities that comes with being Billy Bakers son.

11 - Crossroads

With Spencer in bad shape, Grace, Billy, Laura, Olivia and Layla rush to his side. Knowing there is a big decision he needs to make, the community from both Crenshaw and Beverly Hills rally around him to show support. In the meantime, Spencer asks Coop to do him a favor, but somehow things go from bad to worse. Elsewhere, Jordan and his teammates step up to help Billy out while he is tending to other matters.

11 - The Bigger Picture

When a college scout comes to talk to Spencer, he must decide if the strings attached are worth it. Billy has an idea on how to help his players. A police shooting of a young black woman hits too close to home for Olivia.

12 - Draft Day

With Draft Day around the corner, Spencer celebrates the big day by making some lavish purchases. Meanwhile, Olivia unveils her book to her family but worries that no one will show up to her first book signing. Elsewhere, Jordan stresses over who his best man will be, and Asher faces an uncertain future at Coastal.

When an unexpected event rocks both the Beverly Hills and Crenshaw communities, they come together to support each other in an unexpected way.

With the pressure of school, Spencer and Olivia find themselves looking forward to a fun day together, but quickly find themselves in the middle of everyones lives at home. Laura learns of some new information about the ongoing investigation that has Coop, Patience and Preach worried. Billy and Grace are at odds as to who is best for the job, and neither is ready to back down. Meanwhile, Layla assumes the worst when her dad tells her he is stepping away from his hectic life at the label.

12 - Back in the Day

Spencer tries not to repeat the mistakes of his past with his relationship with Layla and Olivia struggles with her sobriety. Billy reveals to Laura something he did to protect his family, while Coop has conflicted emotions about reuniting with her father.

Billy and Grace are concerned that Spencer is going to push himself too hard before he is ready, which could make things worse for Spencer in the long run. Determined to secure their football future, Spencer, Darnell and Jordan decide to go on a college football visit, but Darnells chance might be taken away by someone close to him. Ashers teammates and Olivia have been noticing a difference in Ashers performance and attitude on and off the field, leaving them to wonder why he is pushing himself so hard. Meanwhile, Layla thinks she knows what she wants to do with her future and needs Coop to do it.

When the truth comes out, Laura is furious and is left to face the consequences. Spencer asks something of his teammates that could jeopardize the rest of their season. Simone is worried about Jordan and turns to his friends for help.

As they prepare for their wedding day, Layla admits to Jordan that shes missing her mothers presence. Spencer shifts his focus from the NFL draft to Layla and Jordans big day. Patience is conflicted after receiving an unexpected opportunity.

After weeks of hard work at practice and the first game quickly approaching, Spencer has high hopes of playing in his first college game. Coop and Patience finally speak their truths leaving them in unknown territory. Meanwhile, Olivia learns an important lesson as she slowly tries to work her way up the ladder at the paper.

With playoffs and mid-terms looming, Spencer makes a few shocking discoveries about his father. Coop desperately wants to bring down her enemies, while Jordan makes a connection with his grandfather.

13 - The Art of Peer Pressure

Spencer is ready to get back to football in order to impress recruiters, but he must prove to Billy and Grace he is not pushing himself before he is ready. Layla is excited about her and Coops music, but Coop is distracted about what is going on in the streets. Olivia struggles in believing Asher and turns to Billy for help. Jordan does the right thing and steps up in a big way to help a friend. Meanwhile, as the District Attorneys race is almost over, Laura tries not to get sidetracked by her opponents smear campaign.

13 - Bring the Noise

When Spencer learns that Grace skipped her own college graduation, he enlists Olivias help to throw her a surprise party. Billy is worried about his players chances at college recruitment, so he tries to organize a scrimmage game to help.

14 - I Do (1)

Spencer and Olivia are focused on pulling off the perfect wedding weekend; Jordan considers a new job offer, and his and Laylas search for a new home takes an unexpected turn; Laura and Grace go head-to-head to see who can write the best speech.

14 - Make Me Proud

Despite his grief, Jordan attempts to man up in his dads absence, but when Billys death is used to garner positive attention for the struggling GAU football program, Jordan is left wondering if his legacy is only to live in his fathers shadow. Back at the Baker house, no one knows how to confront Lauras excessive den-mothering, and Patience gets ready for her extravagant video premiere event.

14 - Changes

Spencer continues to try and prove himself during practices, which seems to go unnoticed, but when a fellow GAU athlete offers to help him form a different plan to get back on the field, he considers it. Coop begins a new job at a nursing home and gets some sage advice from an elderly woman.
